Good Samaritan Network of Hamilton County (GSN)
The Good Samaritan Network brings together Christ-centered charitable organizations that serve Hamilton County. Good Samaritan achieves this collaboration by coordinating the efforts of 64 agencies and 32 food pantries to meet the full spectrum of need for at risk people in the county. These needs include housing, utility assistance, transportation, food, clothing, medical/dental assistance, furniture & home supplies, employment, counseling, and life skills development. The needs have increased as those on the bottom of the economic ladder have been affected by a slowed economy and reduced funding. During Thanksgiving, Good Samaritan serves over 6,000 hot meals. Over Christmas, food, clothing, boots and Christmas gifts are given to 17,000 people.
