Family Dedications at Grace are times for parents to dedicate themselves, publicly, to raise their child / children in a home which will honor Jesus and provide the environment in which they can come to know and love Him as they grow. It is a commitment to make Jesus the center of their family. It is a wonderful event that marks the parent’s intentions and commitment to share their faith in Jesus with their children in a way that causes their children to know and love Jesus and to grow in their understanding of the gift of His love and grace to us. It is also a wonderful way for the congregation to meet the families of Grace – often it is an introduction of a new baby. But Dedication is appropriate for families with children of any age – it’s a function of when the families come to faith not the age of the children. There is no requirement of membership to participate in the Dedication service at Grace and we do not require a class before participating in family dedications.
If you would like to participate in our next Family Dedication weekend on October 13/14, sign up by Friday, September 7. All participants and their families are required to attend a brief dedication meeting (children welcome) and to film a short introduction of your family. We have 4 different times scheduled for your convenience.
