Welcome to Serving Central, a great tool to help you find opportunities for you to serve at Grace and outside the walls of Grace.
What will you find here?
- Serving opportunities around Grace including the greeters, ushers, choir, drama, production, facilities, and more!
- Serving opportunities in your favorite ministries including Grace Kids Company, Student Ministries, Grace Care, Men of Grace, and Women of Grace... just to name a few.
- Local outreach opportunities including: Bag Hunger, Saturdays at Shepherd, Wheeler Men's Mission, Hamilton County Food Pantry Drive, and Tutoring at Shepherd.
- You'll also be able to find short-term trips to places such as New York, Guatemala, Ukraine, and more with our Frontline Ministries.
- Speaking of Frontline Ministries, we have dozens of opportunities for you to help with our Frontline Ministries including: Agape Families, Safe Families, Health Care Ministry, Save the Youth, Loving South Africa, and more!
How to Find What You're Looking For
To navigate through Serving Central, we recommend using the options on your left. You'll have three ways to find serving opportunities that best serve you and help you discover some unique ways in which God has created you.
1) "I'm skilled at or have an interest in..."
This feature is for those of you who know you want to serve, but need help getting started. We've created over twenty "keywords" to describe different opportunities here at Grace and outside the walls of Grace. For example, select "Music/Performing" and you will be shown all opportunities around Grace that have to do with music or peformance (including dance, drama, etc.).
2) "Or View Opportunities by Ministry
Do you know what ministry you want to volunteer in? You can use the "View Opportunities by Ministry" option to go directly to that ministry and find opportunities.
3) Search
If you want to get really specific, you can always use the search box. For example, typing in "Shepherd Community" will show you all activities occuring at Shepherd Community.

Serving Central is just one tool we use in helping you get connected. For those of you who like a personalized way of serving, we offer an excellent program called Next Steps just for you! Next Steps is a one-day experience that will connect you with people who are interested in helping you find your best fit at Grace.
During Next Steps, you'll enjoy discussions with men and women who share their stories with one another, explore your personal styles, passions, spiritual gifts, and have an opportunity to personally meet with leaders of ministries and volunteer teams at Grace.
