Whiz Kids Tutoring & MentoringShepherd Community Center on Mondays or Wednesdays from 4:15 - 5:15 p.m. Westfield Schools on Wednesdays from 3:15 - 4:15 p.m. Spend one-on-one time reading with a student. Volunteers must be 15 or older to tutor students. Another way to spend time with a student is by mentoring. Mentoring opportunities are available at both locations. Mentors must be 21. Training is required and will be provided for both opportunities. |

Wheeler Mission Ministries Shelter for MenEvery Sunday from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. Join us every Sunday to serve a meal, play games and build relationships with the men at Wheeler Mission Ministries Shelter for Men. Wheeler provides shelter, food and clothing to homeless men in Indianapolis. |

Wheeler Men's Mission Shuttle2nd and 4th Saturday of every month Join us as we bring friends from Wheeler Men’s Mission to attend our 4:30 p.m. service and share a meal at Grace. Opportunities include driving the van, preparing a meal item, and displaying simple hospitality by joining our friends during service or by donating items for care packages. |

If you find yourself asking these tough questions, perhaps it’s time to learn something about poverty. What is poverty? Why does it happen? What does it mean to be trapped in poverty? During this class we will discuss the cyclical nature of poverty and hidden rules of different economic classes. |
