Tutoring at Shepherd
On the east side of Indianapolis, less than 30% of students graduate from high school and more than 50% of adults are illiterate. That's why children in Shepherd Community Center's after school and early childhood programs need the help of people like you. Here's how you can get involved:
- Every Monday and Wednesday - After school tutoring with 1st-6th graders.
- 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.
- Meet at Shepherd Community Center at 4:00 p.m. Click here for directions.
- Upon arrival, the group will gather to review the afternoon and then join the kids.
- No registration is required. Please check the calendar below for tutoring dates.
- We would love to have some tutors who speak Spanish.
- We would love to have some tutors who are experts in middle/high school math.
